Waste incineration in states adjacent to Czech republic and the potential of international waste market

This bachelor thesis deals with mapping of current and planned waste incineration plants in states bordering with the Czech Republic, and with the potential of international waste market. The introduction of the thesis describes the history and function of the waste incineration plants. The first main part, the legislation, defines waste incineration as energetic usage of waste, placing waste incineration to waste management and legislative conditions for realization of transportation across borders. The second main part informs about current and planned foreign waste incineration plants, which are located near to borders of the Czech Republic, because of formation of competition for planned projects in the Czech Republic.

The second part describes waste management technologies such as recycling, composting, energy recovery and landfilling.
